Jamuan Raya
Two weeks ago, aku bwat meeting for the KWASET's members. KWASET stands for Kelab Warisan Seni Tari. Syafiqah and I came out with the name together. We suggested a few names , then, from those names, we decided to choose KWASET. Since our club is basically about malays traditional dance, so, we chose a name which based on that.
dlm meeting tu kitorang bwat perlantikan jawatankuasa and had a discussion about next sem. aku suruh diorang suggest a few of activities nak buat next sem. I really want the club to be active. so that, orang lain tak kan ckp kitorang ni mcm hangat2 tahi ayam je. Plus, we can make extra money. Aku kena fikir mcm mana nk cari guru tarian, tailor and kain for our costumes, and mcm2 lagi. I really hope that they are really comitted for the club. Before perlantikan jawatankuasa tu, aku bg little briefing about the club and pasal tangggungjawab jawatankuasa. They listened to me very well. I really appreciated since some of them are the same age as me and some of them are older than me. To get someone , which are the same age and older than u to listen to u, is really difficult. It's not an easy job.
for the jawatankuasa, I was nominated for the president of the club. My friend, syafiqah is the vice president. I think we both can really work together and make the best for our club. Aku pun ada bgtau jugak kt diorang about the jamuan raya. and aku bgtau diorang yg aku nk bwat show. And tanya kt diorang sape yang participate, At first, I thought I want only 4 more dancers. But then, there are 9 dancers that wrote their names. Wow. Terkejut jgk. I told them that the preactice will be held on the next day , which is on Sunday at bilik tv around 8 pm.
So, we had our practice everyday accept for tuesday and thursday since everyone was busy with class at night. They were really determined to learn all the steps. Aku guna tarian cikgu man. Sorry. Sbb ni last minute. So, trpaksa guna tarian dia but tukar2 sikit. kitorang guna lagu Senyum Minang Manis. This is Siti's song.
Our Jamuan Raya was held on last SUnday. Memang happening babe. Fuyoo.. hehe.
Kitorang sepatutnya rehearsal pukul 9. but ramai JPK tak bangun lagi since kitorang tido lambat smlm around 4am. Sebab nak siapkan pentas. Tu pun tak siap lagi masa tu. Then, the rehearsal postponed to 1pm. Tu pun x jadi jugak. So, postponed lagi sampai 2. Pastu, x jadi jugak lagi. Masa tu laa aku rasa macam bengang gila. Nak meletup aku rasanya masa tu. Then, rehearsal tu start pukul 4pm. After the rehearsal, we went back to our room and took shower and had our tea. I asked them to gather at the bilik tv around 6pm sharp.
Then, sampai je bilik tv, terus make up. MY housemate helped me to make up some of the dancers. Housemate wawa pun tolong jugak.I really appreciate their help.
Lepas dah siap semua, kitorang gi belakang pentas. Nak tercabut jantung aku masa tu. Cuak sangat. Sebab tak biasa lagi buat performance kat situ. That was my first performance.
Masa time kitorang nak perform, everyone from the back datang depan. Kitorang macam celebrity. Hehe. Orang tangkap2 gambar, cheer for us. Everyone really satisfied with our performance. Diorang cakap lawa. I have the video but I'll put it in my next post since my thumb drive kat my friend. Tapi memang rasa macam glamour je that night. Segan pun ada jugak. Our dance divided into two groups. Satu group aku and another group is group syafiqah. Masa part group syafiqah, ada part gelek, bdk laki apa lagi, suka laa. hehe. I really hope that we can perform like that in the future. I mean better performance sebab performance tu still byk kekurangan such as takde accessories and we had to rent the costumes from shah alam.
After the performance, I quickly went back to the television room to change my clothes. I wore kebaya. Then, dduk kat dalam khemah dengan my friends. Everyone mcam pandang je. Segan gila.
Then, masa lucky call, diorang panggil " sesiapa yang pakai kebaya dengan sanggul sila naik atas", aku terpaksa laa naik . since my hsemates paksa i and everyone was looking at me. So, I went to the stage to take the prize. Malu and segan lagi masa tu.
Lepas ceremony tu habis, everyone was busy taking pictures including me. That night was a night to remember. It's something that I don't want to erase from the box of my mind. hehe.
